During their adventure, the crew of the Cerritos unexpectedly encounters an Enterprise ship… with a crew of Ferengi! Captain Freeman is visibly shocked by this discovery, exclaiming it’s ‘the Ferengi Enterprise.’ Quog playfully responds, ‘We usually just say Enterprise, but… yeah, that’s right!’

At Netflix’s Tudum event, details about the upcoming thriller The Whisper Man were unveiled, including its release date of August 28, 2026. The series, adapted from Alex North’s novel, stars Robert De Niro, Michelle Monaghan, and Adam Scott. The story follows a grieving crime writer whose son is kidnapped. He reluctantly turns to his father, a retired detective, for help, and they uncover a link to a cold case involving a notorious serial killer nicknamed ‘The Whisper Man’.
Despite being rated for mature audiences, the show Velma actually explored the world of Scooby-Doo in a similar animated style and with the same comedic feel as previous versions of the franchise, even before Scooby-Doo: Origins. Many viewers felt the R-rating wasn’t really necessary because, beyond a few crude jokes, Velma largely kept the same lighthearted, self-aware humor found in earlier, family-friendly shows like Be Cool, Scooby-Doo and A Pup Named Scooby-Doo.
Apple TV launched the series Widow’s Bay with the first two episodes, “Welcome to Widow’s Bay” and “Lodging.” The story begins with Rhys’ character, Tom, trying hard to make a good impression on a travel writer from the New York Times. A positive review could bring tourists and much-needed money to Widow’s Bay, but Tom needs to convince the writer that the island’s unusual residents are endearing, not frightening.
