I was checking out what’s popular on Disney+ with FlixPatrol, and I couldn’t believe High Potential is already the ninth most-watched show globally! It’s a huge hit in places like Albania, Brazil, Colombia – even Switzerland. This series, which originally came from France and Belgium as HPI, first premiered back on September 17th, 2024, and thankfully, Disney+ has already renewed it for a third season, coming in March 2026. I’m really enjoying it!

With many more book-to-screen projects planned, this trend is likely to continue throughout the 2020s – and so far, those shows have been quite successful.

The Terminal List Meets Jack Ryan In Gerard Butler’s Returning Action Franchise

While the Has Fallen movies are somewhat inconsistent, they definitely established Gerard Butler as an action hero. Den of Thieves is a bit like a lower-budget version of Heat, but it’s incredibly enjoyable and features one of Butler’s most entertaining roles as the unconventional detective, “Big” Nick. Plus, films like Copshop and Plane are pretty much a guarantee for a fun night at the movies.

Star Wars Is Switching Genres When The Movies Return In 2027

As a huge movie fan, I’ve always felt that Star Wars leans more into fantasy than straight science fiction. Think about it – it’s the classic story of a brave hero rescuing a princess from a fortress, wielding a lightsaber like a sword, and ultimately defeating an evil wizard to save everyone.
