While the Has Fallen movies are somewhat inconsistent, they definitely established Gerard Butler as an action hero. As a huge movie fan, I’ve always felt that Star Wars leans more into fantasy than straight science fiction. Think about it – it’s the classic story of a brave hero rescuing a princess from a fortress, wielding a lightsaber like a sword, and ultimately defeating an evil wizard to save everyone. While it looks like sci-fi with all the spaceships, at its heart, it’s a fantasy film, and you can really see the influence of samurai movies and old Westerns, just… set in space!
