Just a week after reports surfaced that she was being considered for the role of Maxima in James Gunn’s upcoming ‘Man of Tomorrow’ film, actress Isabela Merced (formerly known as Isabela Moner) has been cast in the DC Universe. While Merced didn’t land the part of the Almeracian warrior queen – a character created by Roger Stern and George Pérez in 1990 and ultimately played by Adria Arjona – she will be joining the new DCU.
