Netflix’s popularity has helped shows like Stranger Things and Squid Game become huge hits worldwide. The platform also successfully revived shows that hadn’t done well originally, turning them into long-running successes with a global audience, like You, starring Penn Badgley, and Lucifer, with Tom Ellis.
This fall, a new movie about the Batman villain Clayface will hit theaters nationwide. The film, from DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures, is directed by James Watkins and co-written by Mike Flanagan. Tom Rhys Harries will play Clayface, but it’s currently unknown if Batman will appear in the movie.
It’s not surprising that ABC initially ordered only nine episodes for the revival of Scrubs, considering how long the show had been off television. Street Fighter is a long-running and popular fighting game series created by Capcom, first launched in 1987.
