It’s odd, but people rarely discuss the Star Trek video games, despite many being quite enjoyable. Titles like Star Trek: 25th Anniversary and Star Trek: Resurgence still hold up well today, proving there have been some good ones.
The Sopranos is known for its compelling stories and unique characters. Although many of these characters were well-developed and fascinating, some were simply unpleasant and hard to like. Even after 18 years, there are still several characters from the show that fans actively dislike.
New K-dramas are coming soon, featuring familiar faces like Park Eun-bin (from Extraordinary Attorney Woo) and fresh talent from recent hits like Bloodhounds and Phantom Lawyer. There’s plenty of comedy on offer, giving K-drama fans a great selection to watch throughout May 2026.
Since its release eight years ago, Gerard Butler’s energetic performance in Den of Thieves has become increasingly appreciated. As Butler has intentionally chosen more self-aware action roles, challenging his typical action hero persona, it’s clear that his work in this 2018 film is more than just entertaining. Many consider it his best performance yet, and it’s the role he’ll likely be most remembered for.
While shows like The Magicians and Shadowhunters appeared on traditional TV, fantasy has really thrived with the rise of streaming services. All the major platforms are now investing in the genre, and Netflix has some particularly great fantasy series. It’s often a shame, though, that streaming shows don’t always get the chance to fully develop their stories – and that happened with The Order. This 2019 series was one of Netflix’s best fantasy shows, but it was canceled too soon. Still, it shares a lot with popular fantasy TV and is definitely worth checking out.
HBO Max doesn’t just have a lot of movies – it has a carefully selected collection. They prioritize quality over simply having everything available, meaning you’re almost always guaranteed to enjoy whatever film you choose. The service includes both classic movies from the beginning of filmmaking and the newest releases.
If you loved the new Animal Farm movie and want to explore similar themes, or if you weren’t quite satisfied and are looking for something more, there are many excellent dystopian books to choose from. These stories offer thought-provoking social critiques and cautionary tales about the future, making them perfect reading material after experiencing Animal Farm.
