The popular satirical superhero series is continuing with a new show called Vought Rising. This next installment, following the success of Soldier Boy in Season 5, will be a prequel, taking viewers back to the very beginnings of the superpowered individuals (supes). Prime Video announced Vought Rising just two days after the Season 5 finale.

These days, it’s common to need background information before watching a superhero show, but Spider-Noir doesn’t require any of that. If you generally know the story of Spider-Man, you’ll be able to jump right into this exciting mix of noir crime thriller and classic superhero action. Despite being in black and white, Nicolas Cage’s performance as the Spider-Man of this world is captivating, immersing viewers in a world of gangsters, villains, and alluring, quick-witted women.

One of the biggest lingering mysteries surrounding The Mandalorian & Grogu ahead of the new Star Wars movie’s release involved one of its key Imperial Remnant villains. First debuting in The Mandalorian season 3 as part of the Imperial Shadow Council, actor Jonny Coyne played one of several unnamed Imperial warlords on the Disney+ series. However, that’s finally changed thanks to Coyne’s latest appearance clashing with Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin and his adopted son.

The satirical superhero series The Boys was created by Eric Kripke, who also ran the show Supernatural, and first appeared on Prime Video in 2019. The show has been praised for its humorous take on the superhero genre, cleverly poking fun at popular superhero tropes while also offering a sharp critique of consumerism, American society, capitalism, and celebrity culture.

Things are changing at Lucasfilm. Earlier this year, Kathleen Kennedy left her role as President, and Dave Filoni and Lynwen Brennan stepped in as co-Presidents. This shift means Star Wars needs to win back fans and breathe new life into the franchise, which has primarily been a TV focus for several years. It’s a lot to ask, but The Mandalorian and Grogu have taken a surprisingly fresh and successful approach with their recent movie release.

Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory is known for his memorable and funny recurring jokes, like constantly talking about his mother having him tested and his strict three-knock rule. Throughout the show’s 12 seasons, Sheldon’s character developed gradually. While everyone learned to accommodate his unique personality, he eventually began to show more appreciation for the people around him.

Rotta the Hutt, Jabba the Hutt’s son, hasn’t appeared in Star Wars since the 2008 animated film, Clone Wars. That’s why many fans were surprised to see Jeremy Allen White cast in the role for the new movie. Beyond his unexpectedly muscular build, Rotta’s ability to clearly communicate with Mando and others is even more unexpected.

Besides the popular series created by Taylor Sheridan, MobLand is a standout performer for Paramount. The show boasts a strong cast including Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Joanne Froggatt, and Paddy Considine. Critics have given the first season a 76% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and while there’s no firm date yet, director Guy Ritchie anticipates season 2 will be released later this year.
