Marvel reveals a fun fact about Bucky’s arm scene in Thunderbolts*

Marvel Entertainment shared a funny behind-the-scenes clip from the upcoming Thunderbolts* movie on X (formerly Twitter). The video shows Hannah John-Kamen, who plays Ghost, accidentally keeping Sebastian Stan’s (Bucky Barnes) prosthetic arm after a scene. Marvel decided to include the real moment in the final version of the movie!

The movie, which came out in the US on May 2, 2025, is almost a year old. Sebastian Stan returns as Bucky Barnes in the film. A behind-the-scenes clip reveals that the movie included some funny, unplanned moments from the actors. Marvel decided to keep this blooper in the final version, so it made it into the released film.

Stan is also set to be in the next Marvel film, Avengers: Doomsday, which is currently being finished. The movie was directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and is planned to be released in US theaters on December 18, 2026.

Many fans think Bucky Barnes will die in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie. This speculation comes from reports that Sebastian Stan, who plays Bucky, is being considered for a role in The Batman 2, a new DC film scheduled to come out in 2027. Entertainment reporter Jeff Sneider hinted that Stan will play Harvey Dent, also known as Two-Face, in the Batman sequel, and shared a picture of the character to support the rumor.

The next Batman movie is scheduled to be released between two major Avengers films: ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ in 2027. Sources say Scarlett Johansson will be joining the cast, though her role hasn’t been revealed. Barry Keoghan is also likely to reprise his role as the Joker.
