The action is incredible – they did so much practically, which really shows – and the acting is phenomenal, even earning an Oscar! It built perfectly on Batman Begins, raising the tension and giving us a much deeper look at Bruce Wayne. Even though The Dark Knight Rises didn’t quite live up to it, it doesn’t take anything away from how amazing The Dark Knight is. It’s still the best Batman movie ever made, and you can see its influence all over the genre.
