Jon Bernthal is reprising his role as Frank Castle, The Punisher, in a new Disney+ special coming this May. It’s been several years since his Netflix series ended, and this special, titled The Punisher: One Last Kill, finds Castle attempting to leave his violent past behind and find peace. However, a new danger quickly forces him back into action.
Marvel Studios has revealed the official logo for The Punisher: One Last Kill, the third series to come from its reimagining of the old Netflix shows. This follows the first two seasons of Daredevil: Born Again. The logo appears in black and white on the main promotional poster, and a vibrant orange version was featured in the trailer released on April 9th.

I’m really struck by the main logo – it’s so raw and impactful. A heavily distressed, almost stencil-like version of ‘THE PUNISHER’ really grabs your attention, with ‘ONE LAST KILL’ underneath in a smaller, but still noticeable, font. And it’s cool to see the ‘A Marvel Television Special Presentation’ banner above it, which immediately tells you this fits into the same kind of universe as things like Werewolf by Night and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on Disney+. It feels like we’re in for something special, and connected to the wider MCU in a really unique way.

The trailer features a special logo that swaps the usual faded white for vibrant oranges, reds, and glowing embers. This is a direct reference to the memorable scene in the trailer where Castle is covered in fuel and set ablaze. However, this fiery logo is probably just for the trailer itself; the simpler black-and-white version will likely be used for posters, online previews, and merchandise.

Fans can watch The Punisher: One Last Kill on Disney+ starting May 12th. This special episode arrives shortly after the season finale of Daredevil: Born Again, and it’s part of Marvel Studios’ plan to bring its former Netflix shows more fully into the main Marvel Cinematic Universe. The trailer suggests that Ma Gnucci will be the main villain in this new Punisher story – a well-known character from the popular Punisher comics.
How Different is One Last Kill’s Logo From Other Punisher Projects?
The logo for the new show, One Last Kill, strongly resembles the 2017 Netflix logo for The Punisher. The original Punisher design featured the word “PUNISHER” in a rough, white, paint-like style on a black background, with a skull shape cleverly formed within the letters.

The latest Marvel TV design maintains the gritty, damaged look, but it’s been streamlined and feels more focused. They’ve also replaced the skull image with the phrase ‘ONE LAST KILL’.

The show’s consistent look confirms what the actors and creators have hinted at: Frank Castle won’t be changing his core personality. In fact, he’s expected to be even more intense. With the show receiving an R-rating, viewers can anticipate a significant increase in violence. Fans are eager to see a ruthless and intimidating Frank Castle, and the show’s logo quietly promises that he’ll continue to resolve conflicts through force.

This distinguishes One Last Kill from the other major street-level story in the series reboot. Daredevil: Born Again adopted a sleeker, more contemporary visual style for its first season, featuring a red skyline incorporated into the show’s title lettering.

For Season 2, the show’s logo changed from red to black, reflecting both Daredevil’s new suit and the season’s more serious mood. This made it the first Marvel-Disney+ series to have a different logo for each season.

Compared to the other two refined logos, the One Last Kill logo feels intentionally gritty, more like a piece of street art than a professionally designed image.
