
The highly anticipated movie release for Thousand-Year Blood War — The Calamity is finally happening!
Fathom Entertainment has announced that the first three episodes of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War — The Calamity will be shown in select North American theaters from June 25-29, 2026, before they become available on TV and streaming. Viz Media will then release the episodes for wider viewing the following month.
Viewers across the country will be able to watch the episodes with subtitles or dubbed in English. The screenings will also include exclusive new footage featuring the series creator, Tite Kubo, and the directors, Tomohisa Taguchi and Hikaru Murata, discussing how the show was made.
Beach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 Sets North American Theatrical Release Date
According to Fathom Entertainment CEO Ray Nutt, anime fans can look forward to an exciting conclusion to BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War in theaters. Fathom has been a leader in bringing unique content to the big screen for dedicated fan communities, and BLEACH fans will be especially pleased with this event, which includes the first three episodes and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from VIZ Media, starting June 25th.
This series is a direct continuation of the original Bleach anime, adapting the final story arc from Tite Kubo’s manga. It introduces new supernatural enemies and hidden truths that challenge everything fans believed about the Bleach universe. The fourth part, called The Calamity, will be the anime’s last season.
Since it first came out, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War has received a lot of praise from both critics and viewers. Currently, it has a 9 out of 10 rating on IMDb, based on over 10,000 reviews.
The epic Thousand-Year Blood War between the Soul Reapers and Quincies is reaching its devastating conclusion… Squad Zero, the Royal Guard, stands against Yhwach as he tries to break into the Royal Palace.
Despite Squad Zero’s immense power, Quincy King Yhwach and his Royal Guard manage to break through their defenses and enter the Reio Greater Palace. With the Soul King gone, the fabric of the worlds is falling apart, and signs of disaster are appearing everywhere.
