Flame Toys has revealed official photos of their Kuro Kara Kuri Cyclonus figure. This highly detailed model kit, based on the character’s look from the IDW comics, isn’t a transforming toy, but a striking, samurai-inspired warrior. Packed with weapons, features, and posing options, it’s a fantastic gift for any fan of the powerful Decepticon.
Transformers’ Cyclonus Is Brought to Life With New Flame Toys Model Kit
The new Kuro Kara Kuri Cyclonus figure is similar to other releases from Flame Toys, offering a highly detailed and stylized recreation of his robot mode. The design is based on his appearance in the IDW
His design is similar to a samurai, mirroring the ancient aesthetic given to his leader, Galvatron, in this version of the Transformers story – a departure from their original depictions. However, Flame Toys officially describes the figure as being consistent with the original Generation 1 series.
This Cyclonus figure stands over eight inches tall and looks powerful with its wings and horns. It features glowing red lights in its chest and eyes to show intense energy. Made with strong metal parts, it’s both solid and flexible, letting you create lots of dynamic and impressive poses.
He’s equipped with twin blades, a large blaster, a shield, and a polearm. Those who purchase the figure from D4toys.com, Flame Toys events, or Japanese retailers will also receive an exclusive “Excalibur” sword that can be mounted on his back.
We don’t know exactly when it will be released or how much it will cost, but the kit is expected to come out later this year. With characters like Cyclonus, Galvatron, and Scourge gaining popularity, the timing seems right for a release now.
