Months ago, it was announced that Jon Bernthal wouldn’t be returning for season two of Daredevil: Born Again, but he will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Trailers for the film show his character, Frank, as a complex anti-hero who seems to have a personal vendetta against Spider-Man and is pursuing his own goals.

Now that Frank Castle, the Punisher, has completed his revenge for his family in The Punisher: One Last Kill, it seems he might have one final target: Ma Gnucci. However, he’s also increasingly focused on helping others by punishing those who have harmed them.
