At CinemaCon 2026, Sony gave a special preview of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, showing a clip that reveals the emotional consequences Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) is dealing with following the events of No Way Home.

Milly Alcock may have accidentally revealed a major scene from the upcoming film, due out June 26th. The reveal involves a surprise appearance by a major DC superhero. While fans predicted this character might show up, they didn’t know how or how important the role would be. Thanks to Alcock, we now know the cameo will happen and will be significant.
At the Sony Pictures presentation, it was announced that Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will be filmed in an expanded 1.43:1 aspect ratio, a format often used for immersive experiences like IMAX 70mm. Producers and writers Phil Lord and Chris Miller introduced the film as the concluding chapter in Miles Morales’ story. A preview shown at CinemaCon, as reported by Variety, continued directly after the ending of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, showing Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) attempting to persuade his alternate self, Miles G. Morales (Jharrel Jerome), to let him return home.
Sony announced at CinemaCon that filming for The Legend of Zelda movie is complete. Although no clips or photos were revealed, this means the movie is now entering the post-production phase. It’s currently scheduled for release on May 7, 2027 (according to IGN).

The biggest news for me was that they officially wrapped filming on The Legend of Zelda movie!
