The final episodes of Invincible Season 4 are coming out this week, and a new trailer reveals what happened to Thragg and the other Viltrumites after the last episode. It turns out the powerful Grand Regent is now targeting Earth.
Invincible Season 4 finale trailer shows Mark’s journey to Earth
A 30-second trailer for the season finale of Invincible has been released on social media. The finale premieres on Wednesday, April 22nd, at 3:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The trailer shows what happens after the devastating battle that destroyed Viltrum, and leaves viewers wondering what will become of the remaining Viltrumite warriors.
The scene focuses on a conversation between Mark and his father, Nolan, while they’re in space. Mark is clearly worried about Earth and what Thragg and the other Viltrumites might do now.
Nolan attempts to reassure him, pointing out they haven’t confirmed Thragg is even present. But Mark isn’t buying it, convinced the Viltrumites are seeking payback for the Coalition’s actions against their planet.
The trailer ends by confirming Mark’s worries. The last image shows Viltrumites – including the powerful Grand Regent Thragg – looking down at Earth. This implies they’re planning a stealthy invasion to get revenge, rather than an all-out, immediate attack.
As the world rebuilds after a devastating event, Mark has changed and is determined to defend his home and loved ones. This puts him on a path toward a dangerous confrontation with a force that could change everything for humanity.
Since Mark and Nolan are still days from returning to Earth, the trailer shows Cecil and the Guardians of the Globe facing this new danger themselves, without help arriving anytime soon.
