Jon Hamm is best known for playing his iconic role over seven seasons and 92 episodes, a part he portrayed for eight years. As a fan, I was curious about the voice acting in Tales from ’85, knowing all the main Stranger Things characters were recast for the animated spinoff. But honestly, it didn’t bother me at all! In fact, I was really impressed – some of the new voices are incredibly similar to the originals. More importantly, the show really captures the personalities and little quirks of each character in animated form. They totally nailed it!

The show’s creators, Eric Robles and the Duffer brothers, give it the energetic and sincere feel of a classic Saturday morning cartoon, though some of that initial charm wears off as the ten episodes progress.

As much as I love a good binge-watch, Netflix isn’t afraid to really go there with its endings. I mean, remember You? Seeing Joe Goldberg finally face consequences for everything he did was intense. And Stranger Things had me on the edge of my seat thinking Eleven was gone for good! But honestly, nothing prepared me for the gut punch of Squid Game – watching the main character meet such a tragic end was just heartbreaking. It’s a testament to their storytelling, even if it leaves you reeling!
