A bestselling sci-fi graphic novel series has scored a movie adaptation.
Mediawan Kids & Family, Submarine, and Sinking Ship Entertainment are teaming up to create a 3D animated movie based on the graphic novel series Hilo. According to Deadline, the series, which started in 2015, tells the story of a boy who unexpectedly arrives on Earth from space.
This funny and exciting series, created by Judd Winick, is mostly for kids and has become very popular over the past 11 years. With over a million copies sold and lots of great reviews, the latest book – the eleventh in the main series – was published by Penguin Random House on February 11, 2025.
