For many years after the 1970s, Westerns weren’t among the most popular TV shows, with a few exceptions like Dallas and Deadwood. Cop shows, especially police procedurals, became the dominant force in network television. However, shows like Justified signaled a resurgence of the Western genre.

James Cameron recently shared at the Saturn Awards (according to Screen Rant) that he hasn’t made a final decision about creating Avatar 4, but he thinks it’s probably going to happen. He also plans to take fan reactions into account as he develops the next movie in the hugely successful Avatar series.
