Natasha Liu Bordizzo hints she has wrapped filming for Ahsoka Season 2
Natasha Liu Bordizzo has finished filming her scenes for Season 2 of Ahsoka. The actress, who plays Sabine Wren in the Disney+ Star Wars show, announced the news on Instagram after seven months of filming in Richmond, England. She shared a photo of herself and Rosario Dawson (as Ahsoka Tano) in costume, signaling the completion of her work on the season.
Production on Ahsoka Season 2 started in the UK in April 2025, following its renewal by Lucasfilm in January 2024. Director Bryce Dallas Howard recently announced she’d completed two episodes, and new information suggests filming is almost finished. This indicates the show is now in the final phases of editing and preparation for its expected release on Disney+ in 2026.
Hayden Christensen, Rosario Dawson, and Eman Esfandi are continuing to film their roles. Christensen will reprise his part as Anakin Skywalker, having previously appeared as a Force ghost in the first season. He recently canceled a scheduled convention appearance in late October 2025, indicating he’s still actively working on the second season with the other lead actors.
Ahsoka, created by Dave Filoni, continues the story of Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren after they find themselves stuck on the planet Peridea. The upcoming season will focus on Sabine’s journey to become a Jedi and the danger posed by Grand Admiral Thrawn. The show stars Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Eman Esfandi, Lars Mikkelsen, and Hayden Christensen, and is scheduled to debut on Disney+ in 2026.
