Fans of WandaVision are excited about a new rumor suggesting a project called “Vision Quest.” This is potentially good news for those eagerly awaiting the next Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) show.
Vision Quest is a new Marvel series coming to Disney+ starring Paul Bettany as Vision. It continues the story from the 2021 hit show WandaVision and was created by Terry Matalas.
What is the new Vision Quest rumor?
Although Vision Quest isn’t scheduled to release until 2026, rumors are already circulating online about a potential second season. Marvel Multiverse reported the possibility, and industry insider Daniel Richtman confirmed it’s a definite possibility.
Marvel hasn’t confirmed whether Vision Quest will be renewed for another season, so reports about a second season are currently just rumors. We likely won’t get official news until after the show has premiered.
Despite recent news, many believe Elizabeth Olsen will reprise her role as Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, possibly in either *Avengers: Doomsday* or *Avengers: Secret Wars*. If the second season of her show doesn’t come out until after *Secret Wars*, it could set up a potential reunion with Vision. However, all of this remains unconfirmed and is currently just speculation.
Joining Bettany in the first season of Vision Quest are James Spader as Ultron, Todd Stashwick as Paladin, Ruaridh Mollica as Tucker, T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., and Faran Tahir as Raza.
Vision Quest is coming to Disney+ next year, but we don’t have a specific release date yet. You can currently watch WandaVision on the streaming service.
