Toyotarou Returns to Dragon Ball Super With 4 of the Series’ Most Dangerous Scientists

Toyotarou, the artist behind the Dragon Ball Super manga, has revealed a new illustration featuring four of the most powerful and long-lived villains in the series.

Toyotarou recently posted a new Dragon Ball illustration on the official website. This illustration, part of his ongoing “Toyotarou Drew It!” series (episode 98, dated late April 2026), brings together villains from different Dragon Ball anime series.

Toyotarou recently revealed on social media that his latest artwork features four villainous doctors: Dr. Myuu (from Dragon Ball GT), Dr. Willow and Dr. Kochin (from Dragon Ball Z: The World’s Strongest), and Dr. Lychee (from Dragon Ball: Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans).

Dragon Ball Super’s Toyotarou Brings Back 4 of the Series’ Strangest Villains

The official Dragon Ball website announced a new project showcasing artwork by Toyotarou, the artist behind the Dragon Ball Super manga published in V Jump magazine. This collection of illustrations features a group of eccentric scientists!

  • Dr. Myuu
    • Appears in the anime Dragon Ball GT. An evil scientist with ambitions to conquer the entire galaxy. He appears as the creator of machine mutants, but his true identity is…!?
  • Dr. Willow
    • Dr. Willow is a scientist who researches human modification and appeared in the movie Dragon Ball Z: The Strongest Guy in the World. Only his brain was alive, and his body was mechanical.
    • Dr. W is a mysterious man who appeared in the digital card game Super Dragon Ball Heroes. His appearance changed, but he revealed himself to be Dr. Willow.
  • Dr. Kochin
    • Appears in the movie Dragon Ball Z: The Strongest Guy in the World. Dr. Willow’s assistant is a biotechnology genius who transplanted his brain into a mechanical body.
  • Dr. Lychee
    • Appeared in the game Dragon Ball Z Gaiden: Plan to Extinct the Super Saiyans and in the OVA based on the game’s story. He was a Tuffle scientist who was attacked by Saiyans and plotted to exterminate the Saiyan race.

Toyotarou recently released new artwork following the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 event. The event, held on April 19, 2026, revealed several exciting updates for the Dragon Ball series.

The initial announcement hinted at the return of the series’ most famous villain. This was followed by news of a new story featuring a completely original cast of characters created by Akira Toriyama before his death. Goku’s Super Saiyan 4 form, as seen in Dragon Ball Daima, also became playable as downloadable content for Dragon Ball FighterZ on April 22, 2026.
