Millie Bobby Brown’s next Netflix movie just took a major step forward.
The British actress first gained recognition for playing Eleven in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things (2016–2025), earning her two Emmy nominations. She’s continued to work primarily with Netflix, starring in films like Enola Holmes (2020), Enola Holmes 2 (2022), Damsel (2024), and The Electric State (2025). Now, she’s starting work on another new movie for the streaming service.
According to Deadline, Tom Hooper—the Academy Award-winning director of The King’s Speech (2011)—will direct Nineteen Steps.
