About a month after publicly withdrawing her support for the film adaptation, author Tomi Adeyimi has shared a new video on TikTok detailing her ongoing issues with the Children of Blood and Bone project. She explained that she’s been dealing with these problems for over a year, accusing studio executives of ignoring conflict between her and the filmmakers while also claiming she continues to face opposition from people involved. Adeyimi strongly reiterated her disapproval of the movie, calling the experience “the worst thing I’ve ever had to live through.” You can see her post below.
