season 2 has added some more returning stars to its cast.
The popular HBO crime drama True Crime Story: The Investigation of a Series of Violent Robberies, created by Brad Ingelsby, debuted last year. It stars Mark Ruffalo as FBI agent Tom Brandis, who is hunting down the perpetrator of several brutal robberies. Due to its success with both viewers and critics, a second season was greenlit. Interestingly, this new season will connect with Ingelsby’s other acclaimed show, Mare of Easttown.
According to Deadline, Martha Plimpton and Silvia Dionicio will reprise their roles as Kathleen McGinty and Emily Brandis, respectively, in season two of Task.
