Facing homelessness, they hope to steal a valuable Wonka Bar and save their homes. But just like others before them who’ve entered Wonka’s magical factory, they’re about to discover things are far more complicated than they expected.

Jared Stern, known for The LEGO Batman Movie, and Elaine Bogan, who worked on Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia, are directing a new version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The film is being produced by Sony Pictures Imageworks, the studio behind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Netflix Is Expanding the Roald Dahl Universe
