According to People magazine, actress Melissa McBride, who has portrayed Carol for over 15 years, has announced she’s taking a break from acting to focus on her personal life. It’s unknown if the news that The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will finish with season four influenced Norman Reedus’s choice to leave, or if he had already made up his mind.
