This show was a continuation of Batman: The Animated Series, taking place in the year 2039, two decades after Bruce Wayne had stopped being Batman. In this future setting, Terry McGinnis becomes the new Batman, battling futuristic criminals and supervillains with guidance from the now-elderly Bruce Wayne.
Reports from Deadline suggest the new movie Michael is expected to bring in $150 million worldwide during its opening weekend. In the United States, it’s predicted to earn between $65 and $70 million – a jump from earlier estimates of $50 to $60 million. International earnings are currently forecast to be between $75 and $80 million.

We always set out to make people laugh, and we didn’t intentionally want to get into political themes. However, the nature of the characters led us there. Ultimately, our main goal was simply to entertain, to help people escape their worries, and to allow viewers to see themselves reflected in the characters – that’s what good storytelling and television do. We believe we achieved this for eleven years, and with our talented writing and acting team, we could have continued for many more. We were all passionate about our work and enjoyed working together.
