“Viva La Madness” will be a follow-up of sorts to the popular 2004 crime film “Layer Cake,” which starred Daniel Craig and was directed by Matthew Vaughn. Jason Statham will take on the lead role previously played by Craig. The film is being produced by Statham’s production company, Punch Palace Productions, along with Lumina Studios and Toff Guy Films. Production is scheduled to begin in January 2026, and the project will reunite cast members from another well-known crime film, “Lock, Stock.”
