Writers and producers Chris Miller and Phil Lord recently shared that the animated film Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is now scheduled to come out in 2027. They announced this on the red carpet for their new movie, Project Hail Mary, in an interview with Variety (posted on X). They also said the film will conclude the Spider-Verse trilogy, which began with the 2018 hit Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Fox has announced it’s renewing the drama Memory of a Killer for a second season, just as the first season’s finale aired. This makes it the second new show Fox has picked up for another season, following the renewal of Best Medicine. Aaron Zelman and Glenn Kessler will return as showrunners for Season 2, having taken over those roles mid-way through Season 1 from Ed Whitmore, Tracey Malone, and David Schulner.
