As a critic, I’ve been following Millie Bobby Brown’s career closely, and it’s clear Netflix still has a lot of faith in her. While one of her recent projects unfortunately didn’t move forward, the overall franchise she’s involved with remains healthy and is still a force to be reckoned with.
It’s been four years since Enola Holmes 2 was released in 2022, and now Netflix has confirmed that Enola Holmes 3 will premiere on July 1st. With Sherlock Holmes remaining incredibly popular in all its forms, the Millie Bobby Brown-led series is officially returning.

The Enola Holmes movies began in 2020 and offer a fresh take on the classic Sherlock Holmes stories. Instead of focusing on Sherlock, the films follow his intelligent younger sister, Enola, as she solves exciting mysteries. She’s back for another thrilling adventure!
Fans anticipating more romance in the upcoming season will be pleased to know a wedding is on the way for Enola and Lord Tewkesbury! New photos reveal Enola in a wedding dress and veil, complete with an engagement ring, confirming they’re set to tie the knot.
The series will feature a stronger romantic element. Her newest mystery takes her to Malta, but the details surrounding her visit are currently a secret.
The latest installment follows Enola Holmes on an exciting chase to Malta, where her personal aspirations and detective work become intertwined in her most complex and dangerous case yet.
Philip Barantini, known for directing the drama Adolescence, directs Enola Holmes 3. Jack Thorne, who wrote the screenplays for the first two Enola Holmes films, is back as the writer.
Millie Bobby Brown returns as Enola Holmes in the third installment, alongside Louis Partridge as Lord Tewkesbury, Himesh Patel as Dr. John Watson, Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Moriarty.
