For eight seasons, the show delivered hilarious moments, memorable characters, and engaging relationship storylines. However, after a satisfying series finale with season eight, the ninth season felt forced and didn’t quite live up to the show’s previous quality, as it seemed to simply try and recapture past success.
Bane is definitely one of Batman’s most iconic enemies, but he hasn’t always been portrayed well in different versions of the story. That’s about to change. While Robert Pattinson’s The Batman 2 isn’t due until 2027, an animated Batman movie featuring Bruce Wayne—and Bane—will be released beforehand.
The movie Wicked: For Good is now showing in theaters across the United States. Ariana Grande plays the role of Glinda, and Cynthia Erivo stars as Elphaba in this sequel to the 2024 film, which is based on the beloved stage musical created by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman.
The picture doesn’t tell us much about who she is as a person, but she looks human and seems to work in a technical field like operations, security, or engineering – we can guess that from her uniform. We’ll probably learn more about her soon.
Despite some criticism of her previous books, there’s been a lot of excitement building for the adaptation of Heated Rivalry. The show focuses on a made-up rivalry between Russian and Canadian hockey players, and fans are hoping it will capture the spirit of classic hockey stories while also exploring the romance that’s so popular in the original novels.
Filming for Star Wars: Starfighter began in August, and fans are eager to see what director Shawn Levy (Deadpool & Wolverine) will do with the franchise. During an interview on The Business podcast, Levy shared the guidance he received from Disney and Lucasfilm, explaining that they told him:

Released in 2016, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was a Warner Bros. and DC Studios film directed by Zack Snyder. It was the second movie in what was then known as the DCEU, following 2013’s Man of Steel. The DCEU concluded in 2023 with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, and James Gunn and Peter Safran have since started a new, separate DC universe called the DCU.

Co-written by Harder and Tesh Guttikonda, it’s a welcome addition to their already strong collection of horror and thriller films – and everything in between!
