According to data from FlixPatrol, Descendants: Wicked Wonderland is currently the most popular movie on Disney+ worldwide, as of July 19. The film has reached number one in 71 countries, including the US, UK, and Canada. Wicked Wonderland first aired on Disney Channel on July 16th and became available on Disney+ the next day, quickly becoming the top choice and surpassing other popular titles.

You might recognize a few of these anime if you’ve been a fan for a long time, but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve more attention. Because many of them are older – made over ten years ago – the animation might not be as polished as what you’ve seen in recent hits like Chainsaw Man, Hell’s Paradise, and Jujutsu Kaisen from MAPPA.

I’ve been a huge fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender ever since it first aired on Nickelodeon. I used to watch the series constantly – Nickelodeon played reruns for months before the live-action movie, The Last Airbender, came out in 2010 (and I even saw that at midnight!). Later, while in college, I watched its sequel, The Legend of Korra. Over the past twenty years, I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve rewatched Avatar: The Last Airbender – it’s been countless.

Despite a big promotional push from Amazon MGM Studios, the movie Masters of the Universe wasn’t a success when it came out in theaters on June 5th. Now, just two months later, the studio is releasing it on streaming. According to reports, Masters of the Universe will be available on Prime Video starting July 22nd.
