I’ve been completely captivated by Dexter! It’s amazing how this character, and the whole series, has become so popular around the world. From the original show to the prequels like Dexter: Original Sin, Dexter: New Blood, and Dexter: Resurrection, I’ve loved every bit of it. Now that it’s on Paramount+, even more people are discovering Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall is brilliant!), and it’s still one of their most popular shows – I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Rob Guillory, one of the creators of the comic book series Chew from Image Comics, announced that Blumhouse will be turning it into a television show.

Okay, so I just saw the news over on Variety – Adam Driver and Naomie Harris are joining the cast of this new movie called Tomorrow is a Drag! According to FlixPatrol, Lioness is now the second most popular show on Paramount+ in the US. Fans are eagerly awaiting new episodes, with many hoping they’ll arrive in late 2026, though there’s no confirmed release date yet. Currently, both seasons one and two of Lioness are gaining popularity on streaming platforms.

Casting director Nina Gold has shared that the next James Bond needs to be incredibly charismatic and, of course, a talented actor. In addition to acting ability, a key quality they’re looking for is strong sex appeal. They’ve also confirmed the actor needs to be young enough to commit to a potential series of five more films.

Popular streaming services have all been vying for viewers with shows geared towards adults. We’ve seen this with dark fantasy series like Netflix’s Castlevania and The Witcher, Prime Video’s The Legend of Vox Machina (based on Critical Role), AMC’s Interview with a Vampire, and Starz’s Outlander. It’s not just fantasy, though – shows like Prime Video’s Invincible and The Boys demonstrated the appeal of mature superhero content. As a huge cinema fan, I was really impressed with how Sherlock brilliantly updated the classic detective stories for a modern audience in London. They didn’t just change the setting, but also cleverly wove in current technology, political themes, and social issues. The first couple of seasons were a massive hit, both with critics and regular viewers like me, but I honestly think the show reached its absolute peak with the season two finale. The way they handled the deaths of both Jim Moriarty, played brilliantly by Andrew Scott, and even Holmes himself, was just unforgettable.

Samurai dramas have become incredibly popular in recent years, and the last decade has seen some truly outstanding martial arts shows focused on these warriors. Since 2024, we’ve seen a surge in high-quality, big-budget live-action samurai series on streaming services like Hulu, Netflix, and HBO – shows that rival the classic samurai films of the past.

Black Clover is filled with incredibly strong characters who all use unique magical powers. Both wizards and devils get their strength from special books called grimoires, and their magical skills and fighting abilities make them formidable opponents. Even Asta, who doesn’t use traditional magic, has repeatedly shown that not having mana doesn’t mean he’s weak.

As a huge fan of that modern Western series, I’ve been following all the spin-offs, and 2026 brought a whole bunch! But after becoming a real hit on regular TV this year, Dutton Ranch is proving exactly why we all fell in love with Yellowstone in the first place. Seriously, it took off – within just one day it was the most-watched show on Paramount+!
