I watched as Daredevil battled officers working for Wilson Fisk, trying to save my friend Cherry, who actually had a health scare during the rescue. Seeing that brought back terrible memories of losing Foggy, and it really threw Daredevil off his game. He ended up getting beaten badly and, shockingly, unmasked by the task force.

Jack Kirby first showed Darkseid in a quick appearance in Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen #134, and then fully introduced him in Forever People #1. Darkseid became the main villain in Kirby’s grand Fourth World storyline, a large-scale cosmic mythos that also includes New Gods, Mister Miracle, and Forever People. As the ruthless ruler of the nightmarish planet Apokolips, Darkseid is consumed by his quest for the Anti-Life Equation – a formula that would give anyone who possesses it total control over the minds and free will of all life in the universe.

Many TV thrillers grab your attention immediately with opening scenes that introduce the main characters and storyline in a way that makes you want to binge-watch the whole series. There’s almost nothing more satisfying than stumbling upon a new show you instantly love!

Fox has announced it’s renewing the drama Memory of a Killer for a second season, just as the first season’s finale aired. This makes it the second new show Fox has picked up for another season, following the renewal of Best Medicine. Aaron Zelman and Glenn Kessler will return as showrunners for Season 2, having taken over those roles mid-way through Season 1 from Ed Whitmore, Tracey Malone, and David Schulner.

If you’re looking for anime that are just plain funny, there are lots of options where comedy is the main focus. Shows like Mashle: Magic and Muscle and Gintama, for instance, get their humor by playfully poking fun at common anime clichés. Good news for fans! Prime Video has ordered a second season of La Oficina. The Spanish-language sitcom has been a big success in Latin America and other regions, and Javiera Balmaceda, a head of original programming at Amazon MGM Studios, confirmed this popularity led to the renewal. Currently, the series isn’t available to stream in the United States.

Large, complex universes like those in Stargate, Star Trek, Star Wars, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe require a significant time commitment from new viewers. It’s ironic that having more content often makes the story feel incomplete, even after years. Dark Matter ended prematurely, falling somewhere between a complete and unfinished story. However, it demonstrates that audiences don’t need to dedicate a huge amount of time and effort to enjoy a show.

Robert Downey Jr. shared a Doctor Doom-themed artwork for Easter. The image shows the villain carrying a basket of Easter eggs, each decorated with logos of Marvel characters expected to be in future films, like the Fantastic Four and X-Men. There’s even an Avengers logo with a star, hinting at the Thunderbolts becoming The New Avengers, plus eggs themed around Ant-Man, Shang-Chi, Captain America, and Thor. Interestingly, one egg features the Spider-Man logo, even though Tom Holland’s Peter Parker hasn’t been officially confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday.
