Sweeny has confirmed this uncertainty was intentional, allowing viewers to interpret the ending as they wish.

The new Mummy film from Blumhouse debuted about two weeks ago and brought in $13.5 million during its opening weekend. That’s a solid start, especially considering it had been nine years since the last Mummy movie was released. Despite competition from films like The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Michael, the horror movie has continued to perform well.

This new detective series, unlike the original, doesn’t have to worry about satisfying fans of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novels. While this gives the creators more freedom to tell their story, it also presents a challenge. This creative liberty could ultimately make the spin-off a strong and interesting part of the Reacher universe.

Many other great games from the 2000s haven’t been updated or remastered yet. Regardless of their quality, they all deserve a chance to be experienced with today’s technology.
