As a total cinema and TV buff, I’m always checking out what’s new to stream, and Paramount+ has some really great stuff coming up between May 4th and 8th, 2026. While they might not drop new shows as often as Netflix, Apple TV+, or HBO Max, I think a Paramount+ subscription is totally worth it. You get access to almost everything Taylor Sheridan’s done, all the original CBS shows, and a bunch of older, fantastic series you might have missed. It’s a great mix!
Last weekend, Ebaster highlighted popular shows on Paramount+, including Survivor and Ghosts, which are currently trending. This week, Paramount+ is releasing a new spinoff of a hugely successful reality competition, and it’s expected to draw a lot of viewers. Plus, several well-loved series are starting new seasons this month, so it’s a great time to start watching or catch up before the new episodes arrive.
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars
Good news for fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race! This Friday, May 8th, brings the premiere of season 11 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, along with season 8 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Untucked. Many fans feel All Stars is even more exciting than the original series, as it brings back beloved queens to compete. The new season kicks off with a two-part premiere this week, with episodes continuing all the way into Summer 2026.
SkyMed
Get ready for the fourth season of SkyMed, premiering May 21st! If you’re not already a fan, now’s the perfect time to start watching. This popular Paramount+ series, which first launched in 2022, follows the challenging and emotional journeys of the air ambulance nurses and pilots who serve remote parts of Northern California. If you enjoy medical dramas, SkyMed is definitely worth checking out this month.
Tulsa King
I’ve been really enjoying re-watching Tulsa King lately, and I’m not the only one! Even though we’re waiting for season 4, it’s still consistently in the top 5 most-watched shows on Paramount+ globally. Seriously, it’s so re-watchable. And the cast is incredible – Sylvester Stallone is fantastic as Dwight, but Garrett Hedlund, Martin Starr, Dana Delaney, Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, and even Samuel L. Jackson all bring so much to the table. If you’re looking for something to watch this week while we wait for the new season, I highly recommend giving Tulsa King another go.
Couples Therapy
Get ready for the return of Couples Therapy! This popular series, which began in 2019, is back with its fifth season on May 17, 2026. It offers a remarkably honest and real look at the challenges facing relationships today. Hosted by psychoanalyst Dr. Orna Guralnik, the show feels like an unedited documentary and promises a deeply moving experience for viewers.
Marshals
For the seventh week in a row, Marshals remains the most popular new series on Paramount+, attracting viewers worldwide. Despite receiving negative reviews and criticism from audiences, the show hasn’t lost steam and is heading towards its season one finale on May 24th.
Fans who’ve continued watching say the show improves as it goes on, but it’s hard to overlook its poor audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes (only 27%). Regardless of your opinion, Marshals is currently the most popular show on Paramount+ and looks set to stay that way, potentially even through May 2026.
