Adding to this, the story of Cruise returning to serious acting after focusing on action films could fuel a successful awards campaign similar to Brendan Fraser’s. Everything suggests Tom Cruise is poised to win Best Actor.

Cruise Has Always Been A Character Actor In A Leading Man’s Body

Tom Cruise shines more in roles like Digger Rockwell than in roles like Maverick.
