The lack of any news about The Batman: Part II at CinemaCon worried fans. However, those concerns have largely been eased within just one day of the event.
Matt Reeves’ Batman sequel, starring Robert Pattinson, is still on track to start filming in London shortly, and the production has added a major new cast member. Sources say the actor is well-known to fans of the hit show Game of Thrones.
I’m really excited to hear that Charles Dance – you know, the amazing actor who played Tywin Lannister in Game of Thrones – is joining the cast of The Batman: Part II! Apparently, he’s going to be playing Charles Dent, which means he’s Harvey Dent’s (aka Two-Face’s) dad. That’s a fantastic bit of casting, and I can’t wait to see what he brings to the role.
DC Studios and Warner Bros. haven’t confirmed this yet, but if it’s accurate, it would be a major change.
This is a developing story so be sure to check back for more info!
