Frankie Muniz Crashes Malcolm in the Middle Themed Truck

Frankie Muniz, known as an actor and racecar driver, crashed his truck during a race. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured.

The accident happened shortly after the new season of Malcolm in the Middle started streaming on Hulu and Disney+. While driving his F-150 truck at Bristol Motor Speedway, Frankie Muniz collided with Tyler Reif and Timmy Hill, ending his participation in the NASCAR race and damaging his vehicle. Muniz later discussed the incident with Fox Sports.

Frankie Muniz Had an Unfortunate Accident

I thought we were doing well and felt fast out there,” he explained. “We were in a good position, so I was focused on consistently hitting fast lap times. There were about ten laps left in the stage, as far as I could tell.

He wasn’t sure what happened, but it seemed like Reif got frustrated. Reif was upset with me, saying I was too slow to be racing, even though I was in a good position to gain spots. I felt like I deserved to be there just as much as anyone else, and I wasn’t going to let him intimidate me. I haven’t seen a replay, but from my perspective, I moved towards the middle of the track without fully going to the outside, to show I wasn’t completely giving up my lane.

Frankie Muniz Rose to Fame on Malcolm in the Middle

I still remember when Malcolm in the Middle first hit TV – it was huge! Frankie Muniz was the star, and honestly, the show was one of the funniest things on TV for seven seasons, running from 2000 to 2006. It was amazing to watch him grow up on screen, and he wasn’t just a sitcom star either. He was also landing roles in movies like Big Fat Liar, My Dog Skip, and Agent Cody Banks during that same time – he was everywhere!

After finishing Malcolm in the Middle, Frankie Muniz became passionate about motorsports. He left acting to pursue racing full-time and now competes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. While racing is now his main career, he still occasionally acts, including a role in last year’s sci-fi thriller Renner.

Frankie Muniz is returning to the world of Malcolm in the Middle with Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair. This new series brings back several of the original cast members, including Bryan Cranston, Jane Kaczmarek, Christopher Masterson, and Justin Berfield. The four-episode revival takes place roughly 20 years after the original series, centered around Malcolm’s parents celebrating their 40th anniversary.
