The Boys Return, And The Voice of Thragg Speaks in The Backstage Pass

Welcome to The Backstage Pass!

There’s a ton of superhero shows and movies available right now, so let’s get you up to speed!

On with the show…

The premiere of on Amazon Prime Video is just two days away, and viewers are getting ready for the fifth and final season.

Before the new season started, I had the opportunity to interview the main cast of The Boys, including Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, and Erin Moriarty. I focused on avoiding spoilers, so we talked about the show’s impact and the moments they were most surprised to see actually make it on screen.

Check out these special interviews – they won’t spoil anything! – and get excited for the Season 5 premiere on Wednesday!

The fourth season of Invincible continues to explore the large-scale war with the Viltrumite Empire, while also focusing on personal struggles like Mark’s battles with anger and Atom Eve’s pregnancy.

The standout moment this season has been the introduction of Grand Regent Thragg, the powerful leader of the Viltrum Empire. We were excited to interview Lee Pace, the actor who voices Thragg, about his role and how he developed the character’s unique way of speaking.

Many Marvel enthusiasts are noticing that Season 2 will heavily feature Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, also known as the Kingpin.

Now that Fisk is Mayor of New York City, he’s heavily using his power to crack down on vigilantes and strengthen his task force. However, recent episodes have shown Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) making a significant breakthrough against this initiative, with some of the most exciting fight scenes the show has offered so far!

Okay, so I just finished binging Daredevil, and I’m super hyped! I found this awesome interview with the showrunner, Dario Scardapane, and executive producer, Sana Amanat, where they dish on everything about the show. Definitely worth checking out if you’re a fan like me!

As a Pokemon TCG player myself, I know how tricky it can be to figure out if a card you just pulled is actually valuable! It’s something every collector goes through. The game has a lot of strategy, and finding out what your cards are worth shouldn’t be so difficult, but honestly, it often is!

Our new landing page includes a helpful tool that shows you how a card’s price has changed over the last 90 days, and where it currently stands compared to its historical prices. This information isn’t available anywhere else.

Take a quick look at the price of a card you already have. If you’re a trading card game player, I recommend bookmarking this site and checking prices regularly!

The show has really expanded its scope, imagining a different version of American – and global – history, and finally answering some long-standing questions that viewers have had since the beginning.

Like, will the show’s characters ever make contact with aliens?

from showrunners and co-creators Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi.

Have a great week, and I’ll talk to y’all next Monday!
