The movie is a modern take on the biblical story of Job, focusing on a couple who are putting on a dramatic and elaborate performance of the tale. The story centers around Job, a man whose faith is challenged when he loses everything – his possessions, family, and health – but who remains steadfast in his beliefs. The film is written and directed by Yuval Adler (Sympathy for the Devil).
A synopsis of the new movie reveals it will weave between the past and present, contrasting an age-old battle between good and evil with a troubled modern marriage. The film explores the pressures faced by a couple as they grapple with difficult choices and question who holds the power in their relationship. Currently, there are no announced plans for when the movie will be made or released.
