
Production on The Batman – Part II is beginning, and the movie is adding new actors to its cast. Robert Pattinson will reprise his role as Batman in the sequel, which is planned for release in 2027, as the DC Universe continues to grow.
I’m really excited to hear that Sebastian Stan is joining the cast of The Batman – Part II! And even better, Variety is reporting that Barry Keoghan is coming back as the Joker – his brief appearance in the first Batman movie was fantastic, so I’m thrilled to see more of his take on the character. Apparently, they’re starting to film in May, which is pretty soon after James Gunn begins shooting his Superman movie. It’s going to be a busy year for DC fans!
Barry Keoghan first appeared as the Joker in a scene after the credits of The Batman, where viewers saw The Riddler, played by Paul Dano, being taken to Arkham Asylum. A scene that didn’t make the final cut of the movie, featuring an interaction between Keoghan’s Joker and Robert Pattinson’s Batman, was later released online.
