The latest episode of *South Park* continued its sharp and critical commentary on Donald Trump and his presidency. This time, the show portrays Trump attempting to prevent his child with Satan from being born. In the process, the episode depicts Brendan Carr, the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), as an accidental casualty of Trump’s plans.
Donald Trump Tries to Get Rid of His Baby in South Park’s New Episode
In South Park Season 27, Episode 5, “Conflict of Interest,” the show once again uses its signature satire to comment on current events happening around the world.
I couldn’t believe what I heard at the beginning of the episode! Apparently, some kids at South Park Elementary were actually betting on whether Kyle’s mom, Sheila, would attack Gaza. They were using some kind of app where you could predict things, and it was awful to see people gambling on something so sensitive and prejudiced against her because she’s Jewish. It really upset Kyle, and rightfully so.
Inside the White House, Satan and President Trump are awaiting the arrival of their child. But the President quickly tries to end the pregnancy.
The two storylines – one in Washington D.C. and the other in a fictional small town – come together when Kyle contacts the app’s advisor, Donald Trump Jr., to halt the gambling. He discovers the Federal Communications Commission is addressing problematic content, a clear allusion to Brendan Carr’s criticism of Jimmy Kimmel after Kimmel made a controversial statement following the death of Charlie Kirk (as reported by CNN).
In a South Park episode, Carr is targeted by Trump’s bizarre plan involving abortion and Satan. He gets sick with toxoplasmosis from cat waste and also faces the risk of being censored.
Sheila eventually travels to Gaza, but her outburst is purely verbal – a furious rant reminiscent of the character Susie Greene from the show *Curb Your Enthusiasm*.
The fifth episode experienced a one-week delay because it wasn’t finished on time. As for new episodes, Season 27 Episode 6 is scheduled to air on October 15, according to South Park’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.
