GREENLAND 2: MIGRATION
Following the devastating comet strike from the first film, Greenland 2: Migration, directed by Ric Roman Waugh and from Lionsgate and STXfilms, picks up the story of the Garrity family. John, Allison, and their son Nathan must leave their shelter in Greenland and travel through a broken and dangerous world to find a new home. Starring Gerard Butler, Morena Baccarin, and Roman Griffin Davis, the movie builds on the original’s story, still centering on family, resilience, and surviving against impossible challenges.

The story continues with Dr. Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) in an unexpected and potentially world-altering connection, and Spike (Alfie Williams) facing a terrifying ordeal involving Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell). In this new chapter, the biggest danger isn’t the infected anymore – it’s the cruelty of other survivors, which proves to be even more frightening.

Okay, let me tell you about Mercy. This new thriller from Timur Bekmambetov really throws you right into the action. It’s set in the near future and stars Chris Pratt as a detective accused of his wife’s murder. But here’s the twist: his trial isn’t with a jury of people, but with an incredibly advanced AI judge – one he actually helped create! The whole thing unfolds in real-time, giving you only 90 minutes to see if he can convince this AI he’s innocent. Rebecca Ferguson, Kali Reis, and Annabelle Wallis round out a strong cast. It’s a fast-paced, suspenseful ride that makes you think about where technology and justice meet – and whether an AI can really deliver a fair verdict. Definitely one to watch if you like your thrillers with a bit of a moral question thrown in.
