With Scarlett Johansson reportedly joining the cast of the upcoming Batman – Part II, fans are speculating about her role. On December 3, 2025, a well-known actor from the Marvel Cinematic Universe was added to the cast of The Batman – Part II, becoming the newest member of director Matt Reeves’ film series. Colin Farrell will reprise his role as Oz Cobb, and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth and Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon will also return.
Filming is expected to start in May 2026. While the full cast for The Batman – Part II hasn’t been announced, Zoë Kravitz likely won’t be returning as Catwoman, although DC Studios hasn’t officially confirmed this yet.
