The story isn’t over. Despite how unsettling that may seem, it’s true, particularly thanks to Osgood Perkins, who directed and produced the film when it was released in 2024. Plus, Paramount Skydance, the studio, hasn’t let recent challenges with top Hollywood talent hinder their progress.
Perkins has teamed up with Paramount Skydance to create a new movie based on Longlegs. However, it won’t be a direct sequel. Instead, the film will build on the story introduced in the previous movie, featuring Nicolas Cage’s portrayal of the demonic killer.
Nicolas Cage will return in some capacity as Longlegs, also serving as a producer. Director and producer Josh Perkins has already written the script and will helm the next film.
