Ballard’s Season 2 Renewal Sets Up a Perfect Return for Bosch’s Honey Chandler

Honey Chandler started as an opposing lawyer to Harry Bosch in the first season of Bosch, but they later began working together. She became increasingly important in Bosch and eventually became a central character in Bosch: Legacy. Though she was a key figure in Bosch: Legacy and several characters crossed over to Ballard, Honey Chandler only made a brief appearance in the first season finale of Ballard. Now that Season 2 of Ballard is confirmed, there’s a good chance Honey Chandler could return in a larger role, which would be a welcome development considering the show’s dramatic ending.

While it might have been too unusual for critics then, the film has gained a following over the years, especially among filmmakers like Tarantino who recognize and appreciate its quirky and original style. It felt fresh and rebellious, even before self-aware horror became popular.
