Despite rumors circulating online, Mark Ruffalo, who plays the Hulk, has not been fired by Disney or Marvel.

Mark Ruffalo is famous for his role as Bruce Banner/Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’s returning to that role in the upcoming Spider-Man 4, also called Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which will be released in US theaters this summer. Next month, he’ll also star in the new thriller, Crime 101, alongside Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry.

Last week, false rumors spread online claiming Mark Ruffalo had been fired by Disney. Ruffalo, known for his political views and past criticism of the Trump administration, addressed these rumors in an interview with The News Movement for their Crime 101 series, confirming they are not true.

Amazon MGM Studios will release the film Crime 101 on February 13, 2026. The movie is directed by Bart Layton and is based on Don Winslow’s 2020 novella of the same name. It features a cast including Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte.

The next Spider-Man movie from Marvel Studios, currently scheduled for release on July 31, 2026, will again star Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. The film will also feature Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, Michael Mando as Scorpion, and Marvin Jones III as Tombstone, among others.
