I’m so excited for the new season of Daredevil: Born Again coming to Disney+ this March! It’s going to focus on the epic battle between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, and I’m already hearing they’re planning another season right after! That means this story is going to be huge and we’ll get to see a lot more of Daredevil’s journey. It’s fantastic news for fans like me!
According to Backstage, filming for the third season of Daredevil: Born Again will begin on March 6th. The production is using the code name “Out The Kitchen,” the same one used for the first two seasons, and they are currently looking for extras.
Casting notices, as reported by Backstage, are seeking talented tap dancers to play roles like gang members, dangerous criminals, and intimidating officers for the upcoming season of Daredevil: Born Again. Filming begins March 6th, just three weeks before the new season premieres on Disney+ later that month.
The upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series will be a first for Marvel Studios, becoming the first live-action show on Disney+ within the main MCU timeline to be renewed for three seasons. Only Loki, another series within The Multiverse Saga, has previously lasted beyond a single season.
We don’t yet know specifics about season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again, but season 2 will likely give us a good idea of what to expect when the show returns next year. It’s also currently unclear if the series will be renewed for a fourth season.
Fans are excited about the potential for a full Defenders team reunion in the upcoming season of Daredevil: Born Again. With Krysten Ritter returning as Jessica Jones in season 3, there’s hope that Mike Colter might also reprise his role as Luke Cage, as the actor has hinted at discussions about returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The second season of Daredevil: Born Again will start streaming on Disney+ on Tuesday, March 24th. While there isn’t a release date for season 3 yet, it’s currently planned for sometime in 2027.
