Last summer, Prime Video’s The Summer I Turned Pretty sparked a huge online debate about which of the two brothers, Conrad or Jeremiah, viewers preferred. Now that the show has finished, its story will continue in a concluding movie.
The show first came out in 2023, adapted from a popular book. After a successful return in 2025, Season 3 has been filmed and will likely premiere this year. Despite not waiting to see how Season 3 performs, Netflix has already confirmed a fourth season of My Life With the Walter Boys.
During its presentation on May 13th, Netflix announced several upcoming projects, including a new Grown Ups movie, a fantasy series based on Barbaric, another season of Dan Levy’s crime drama Big Mistakes, and a sneak peek at a yet-to-be-named show.
What to Expect From My Life With the Walter Boys Season 4?
As a huge fan, I’m already trying to figure out what Season 4 will be about, but honestly, there’s not much known yet! Since Season 3 hasn’t even dropped, they haven’t released an official summary. But one thing I can say for sure is that it’s going to be packed with even more drama – and I can’t wait!
This show is adapted from Ali Novak’s 2014 novel and centers around Jackie Howard, played by Nikki Rodriguez. After a devastating family tragedy, Jackie moves from New York to a small town in Colorado to live with her legal guardian and his eight energetic sons.
Season 2 began with a lot of unresolved tension from the previous season’s finale. After sharing a kiss and confessing their feelings for Jackie, both Cole and Alex were left wondering where they stood when she unexpectedly moved to New York. Now, Jackie is back in Silver Falls, hoping to repair her relationship with Alex, establish clear boundaries with Cole, and find her role within the Walter family.
In Season 2, Jackie and Alex secretly started dating again, but Jackie ended up developing a stronger connection with Cole. This mirrored the dynamic in The Summer I Turned Pretty, where, like the Team Conrad versus Team Jeremiah rivalry, Team Cole ultimately came out on top.
My Life With the Walter Boys Season 3 Returns Soon
While the story for Season 3 hasn’t been officially announced, it will definitely explore what happens after the dramatic events of the finale. The last episode ended with a major reveal, all while Alex unknowingly watched everything unfold. To make matters worse, the family’s ranch was then destroyed in a fire.
Melanie Halsall, the showrunner, said everyone involved with the show – the writers, cast, and crew – is thrilled to be making a fourth season of Silver Falls.
Halsall shared that the characters will keep developing, and there are plenty of compelling, emotional, and complex stories ahead. She expressed excitement about sharing these with the show’s dedicated and supportive fans, and thanked them for their incredible enthusiasm.
My Life With the Walter Boys Season 3 is expected to premiere on Netflix in 2026.
