In a recent interview with Collider, Millie Bobby Brown gave an update on Enola Holmes 3. She expressed her enthusiasm for the film, saying she’s “really, really excited for people to see it,” and hinted that it will be a noticeably different story than the previous installments.
Brown finished her statement with a promise: “You wanted romance, and we’re delivering.” Given the growing connection between the characters at the end of Enola Holmes 2, it makes sense that a third movie would explore their relationship even further.
News about Enola Holmes 3 surfaced on November 21, 2024, announcing a change in directors. Philip Barantini will direct the third film, taking over from Harry Bradbeer, who directed the first two. Jack Thorne, who wrote the previous Enola Holmes movies, is also returning to write this new installment.

I can’t wait to see them all together again.
Details about the plot are still secret, but according to a report from Deadline on November 21, 2024, the third movie will be more mature and have a darker tone. The filmmaker reportedly wants Enola Holmes 3 to follow a similar path to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, which helped revitalize that franchise.
Netflix previewed the next Enola Holmes story, revealing that Enola will be investigating a case in Malta where her personal life and work become complicated. This new mystery promises to be her most challenging yet. Currently, Netflix hasn’t announced when Enola Holmes 3 will be available to watch.
